As part of Mercury Technologies' on going participation in public debate regarding ammonia refrigeration's resurgence as a viable, natural alternative, we were invited to present a paper at the International Institute of Refrigeration's 2009 conference in Ohrid, Macedonia. Entitled, "Ammonia Refrigeration Technology", this bi-annual global meeting of engineers, manufacturers and legislators addressed the design, efficiency, safety and regulations surrounding ammonia refrigeration systems over a three day period in May 2009. Mercury Technologies' contribution involved the presentation of a paper outlining the need for detailed, relevant risk management of ammonia refrigeration systems.
